Please join the Wharton Alumni Club for the last event of their 2018 spring season at Manatawny Craft Spirits Shop & Tasting Room on Passyunk on Thursday, May, 10th, 2018.
Manatawny Still Works is a state-of-the-art distiller, offering small-batch spirits of the highest quality, handcrafted right on the same banks where the natives once drank the spirited brew. Manatawny Still Works was founded to produce world class spirits with character in small batches. The distillery is modern, but their practices are based on old world production methods with a reverent nod to the history of the region. Manatawny Still Works is headquartered in Pottstown, on the banks of the Manatawny Creek, which means "place we meet to drink" in Lenape. The spirit of Manatawny is focused on new world first rate quality, but rooted in the past.
Bill Manginelli, the owner of Manatawny Distillery, will share thoughts on the running of the distillery and some of its distinctive brews. Manatawny Still Works Keystone Whiskey was recently awarded a Gold Medal by the American Craft Spirits Association. A malt-forward, four-grain whiskey that boasts a surprisingly complex, yet mildly sweet character with a pleasant finish, Keystone Whiskey is just one of the many spirits we will have the opportunity to enjoy at this exciting alumni event.
