We are very excited to let everyone know that we are hosting a golf, tennis and pickleball event – followed by a networking happy hour at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Chestnut Hill.

This event will be one of our first in person events, as life slowly begins to return to normal. What better place to start this return to normal then in the fresh air at the nation's oldest country club - where we can take advantage of the club’s rich sporting heritage - followed by some fabulous food and drinks.
Wharton Club Members and their families will have the option to play golf, tennis or pickleball - or just attend the happy hour reception. That’s right, all are invited to attend the networking/fun happy hour - even if you choose not to play golf, tennis or pickleball that day.
Happy Hour will include:
• Slider Station with Buttermilk Fried Boneless Chicken and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Sliders will be served on Mini Brioche Rolls with Waffle Fries. Sauces including Ketchup, Cricket Sauce, Old Bay Mayo. Grilled Cheese, Pulled Pork, White Cheddar, Smoked Cheddar on Texas Toast
• Passed Hors d'oeuvres of Philly Cheese Steak Spring Rolls; “Cheese Wiz” Pigs in a Blanket with Spicy Mustard; Smoked Salmon Tartar with Traditional Garnishes of Red Onion Marmalade: Crispy Capers Goat Cheese Mousse on Parmesan Crisp with Toasted Pine Nuts and Chives; Lemon Zest Compressed Melon with Honey-Mint Yogurt on Pancetta Crisps
• Cheese Board Selection of 3 Different Cheeses with Grapes and Strawberries - served with French Bread

Sporting Activities:
Golf: $40 per person (9 holes) (3 pm-5 pm)
Tennis (singles, doubles or round robin format): $25 per person (3 pm-5 pm)
Pickleball: $25 per person (3 pm-5 pm)
(Locker rooms will be available to participants of the sporting events)
Please note that the Club rules require all white clothing (including hats but not shoes/sneakers) to be worn for tennis, and denim is generally not permitted to be worn.
48 hours notice required for any refunds!
Happy hour: $30 (5:30pm – 7:30pm)
A cash bar will be available
