Wharton Alumni Club’s Annual Cricket Club Golf, Pickleball & Happy Hour Event on 6/13/25
We are very excited to announce that we are hosting our Annual Golf and Pickleball Event at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Chestnut Hill.
This will be followed by a social happy hour.

We had such a great turnout in the past for this event and we hope it will be even better this year! What better place to have an outdoor event - in the fresh air at the nation's oldest country club - where we can take advantage of the club’s rich sporting heritage - followed by some delicious food and drinks. Wharton Club Members and their families will have the option to play golf or pickleball - or just attend the happy hour reception. That’s right, all are invited to attend the social happy hour - even if you choose not to play golf or pickleball that day. There is not a dress code for the happy hour, so feel free to wear your sports attire to the happy hour.

Member Pricing:
Happy Hour registration: $29 (5:30pm - 7:30pm). Members may bring one guest for an additional $29!
Sporting Activities: Golf: $60 per person and members may bring one guest for an additional $60 (9 holes) (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm).
Push Carts are available for each golfer!
We have 2 options for Pickleball this year; as we have an awesome instructor: Karen Simeon, who is a Certified Pickleball Teaching Professional at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Member Pricing:
Pickleball: $50 per person for 2 hours (3pm - 4pm with a certified instructor - with an additional hour of play from 4pm - 5pm). Members may bring one guest for an additional $50.
Pickleball: $25 per person and may bring one guest for an additional $25 (4pm - 5pm - without a certified instructor)
Non-Member Pricing:
Happy Hour: $66 (5:30pm – 7:30pm)
Sporting Activities: Golf: $70 per person (9 holes) (2pm - 5pm)
Pickleball: $60 per person for 2 hours (3pm - 4pm with a certified instructor - with an additional hour of play from 4pm - 5pm)
Pickleball: $35 per person (4pm - 5pm - without a certified instructor)
Non-members, please remember that the Wharton Alumni Club’s annual membership fee is only $85.
(Locker rooms will be available to participants of the sporting events).
