Please join the Wharton Alumni Club as they welcome Anthony and Olive Hamilton Russell for a virtual wine tasting. Anthony and Olive are the owners of HAMILTON RUSSELL VINEYARDS and SOUTHERN RIGHT in South Africa. Anthony is a Wharton Alumnus (WG90).

Anthony and Olive will discuss their award-winning vineyards and then guide us through a tasting of a few of their wines. The wines can be ordered and delivered to your house before the tasting.
We suggest Gary's Wine and Marketplace (links and wines below), as they have great prices. You may also purchase them at PLCB stores.
We invite the participants to purchase one or all four of the wines that we will be tasting, in the below order, in conjunction to chatting about South Africa and Hamilton Russell Vineyards and Southern Right Vineyard. I might be getting older, but is this really the 25th vintage of the Southern Right Pinotage? If so, it's one of the best yet.

A small portion of this impressive, well-priced Sauvignon Blanc sees oak, but it's focused on other flavours. Savoury, sappy and salty, with elderflower and grapefruit notes, lovely precision and a textured, bone-dry finish.
