This is the first of a series of mini-workshops on career change for Wharton alumni. All classes are welcome, although we are focusing on people with at least a few years of experience.
Cathy Goodwin, Ph.D., an experienced author and career consultant, will speak on the topic:
5 career change secrets most career coaches won't tell you.
Topics include:
- career change vs job change; the mindset shift you need to make (it's not woo-woo - this is what holds back 90% of career change);
- why everyone over 40 needs a side hustle; and the most important steps to take when your job goes away; and
- why you won't benefit from tests (and what to do instead).
As the title of the talk implies, Cathy's approach is contrarian, controversial and intensely practical.
