The Columbia Business School Alumni Club of Philadelphia invites Wharton Philly to attend a Cross-Club book talk and reception featuring CBS Professor Stephan Meier.
The workplace and the way we manage teams and the workforce are rapidly evolving, largely due to technological advancements. Professor Stephan Meier will share insights from his new book, The Employee Advantage, on how leaders must adapt in this ever-changing work environment. In The Employee Advantage, Prof. Meier, chair of the Management Division at CBS and a behavioral economist, explains why organizations should value their employees as much as—if not more than—their customers. He explores what motivates people at work and how technology should enhance, rather than undermine, those motivators to reach its full potential. Companies that pivot toward a human-centric future of work will become more profitable, innovative, and attractive to top talent.
A networking reception with drinks and appetizers will follow.
