Join us October 6 from 12-1:30 for a fireside chat and Q&A with Adrienne Harris, former Special Assistant to President Barack Obama and current Professor of Practice at the University of Michigan. As Special Assistant to President Obama, Professor Harris played a key role in the development of policies on the financial sector and financial inclusion. While at the White House, Professor Harris chaired both the Interagency Fintech Working Group and the Distributed Ledger Technology Task Force. As a fellow with the Gates Foundation, Professor Harris has developed key research on the future of central banking. In this exciting fireside chat, Professor Harris will discuss the financial sector, the impact of COVID on the economy, and the future of Finance.

Adrienne A. Harris is a Professor of the Practice at the University of Michigan, as well as a Gates Foundation Senior Research Fellow with the Center for Finance, Law and Policy at the University. Her Fellowship focuses on the study of the Central Bank of the Future. Adrienne also advises fintech companies, incumbent financial institutions, and large venture capital firms.
