Raising Ms. President Documentary Screening 1/31/16

January 31, 4:30-7:30 p.m.

University of Pennsylvania's Women of Fels, in conjunction with Girls on the Run Philadelphia, will host a public screening of the documentary film, Raising Ms. President. Produced by Kiley Lane Parker, the film looks at where political ambition starts and how we might get more women to run for public office in order to create a stronger country and world. Following the film, Rebecca Katz of Hilltop Public Solutions will moderate a brief panel discussion on opportunities and barriers to young women's involvement in leadership roles. Confirmed panelists include Philadelphia City Councilwoman Cherelle Parker, 2015 Philadelphia Mayoral Candidate Melissa Murray Bailey, and Hon. Donna Bullock.
