John Giudice Bio-Background

John Giudice earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and later an MBA from Harvard Business School. Early in his career, he worked at Corning Glass Works, where he helped implement automation and advanced manufacturing processes for glass and ceramic products.

John spent over two decades at Digital Equipment Corporation in product and business management roles, collaborating with customers in research, manufacturing, and technical OEM sectors. While at DEC, he also engaged in early rules-based AI projects, gaining insights into the technology’s limitations at the time. He went on to join several software ventures, including a pioneering team working on neural network–based handwriting recognition and Groove Networks (founded by Ray Ozzie), which was later acquired by Microsoft. John also led product management teams at Intralinks, providing secure information-sharing solutions for the financial services industry.

Retired since 2016, John now dedicates his time to projects that fuel his personal interests. He has actively followed AI’s evolution for more than 35 years and is excited by the current wave of AI tools capable of scaling to real-world applications. John volunteers with the Harvard Business School Association of Boston’s Community Action Partners (HBSAB-CAP), advising nonprofits on growth strategies and serving on the CAP Board. His ongoing passion is helping others understand and leverage AI to enhance both personal and professional pursuits.
