Before the performance, hear REBECCA DAVIS tell about the founding of her Dance Company. All at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre Friday evening, May 7.
About the Program: The world premiere of this contemporary dance piece evokes the clash of conformity and human individuality, inspired by literary classics like "Brave New World", "1984", and "Fahrenheit 451." Based on the imagined worlds of authors like Aldous Huxley and George Orwell, the Rebecca Davis Dance Company explores these issues of societal control vs. individual freedom. This professional ensemble is choreographed by Rebecca Davis using her innovative style of dance, drama and narrative.
